Learn English with Grace

I know you have many choices.  But here are some of the reasons why you should learn English with me:

  1.  My lessons are tailor-made to your needs.  Prior to starting any lesson, I always ask you about your expectations.  This is where I build my lesson plan.  I will work with you hand in hand to reach the mastery you desire.
  2.  My lessons are always fun and engaging.  I am unconventional.  I am not a major fan of conventional teaching methods.  There could be days when our lessons are done outdoors, or days when all we do is play games while using the language.
  3.  My rates are reasonable.  You get more for the price you pay.  On the pricing page, you will find that my rates are extremely competitive.  Except for group lessons, you only pay for the lessons that took place.  I am also open to negotiations and am willing to produce the “3rd solution.”
  4.  I am bilingual.  English, aside from Filipino, is my native tongue.  You will have no other choice than to speak English with me.
  5.  I am flexible.  You don’t have to visit any classroom.  I can come to you, or I can conduct the lessons at a location that is convenient for you.
  6.  I am a certified TEFL teacher and Adult Literacy Tutor.  After deciding to teach English as a part-time job, I upgraded my qualification by achieving and educator certificate from TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).  Furthermore, while I was living in the US, I was a volunteer for the Los Angeles Public Library where I underwent training to become an Adult Literacy tutor.
  7.  I can work with modern technology.  If a face-to-face lesson is not your thing, I can conduct your lessons via multimedia.  The modern world has gifted us with the beauty of technology at our fingertips.  Let’s use it!
  8.  I have traveled the world.  I have lived on three different continents and traveled all over the world.  Needless to say, I am rich with experiences and insights.  These experiences become fodder for my conversation lessons.
  9.  I am a mother.  My own experiences in teaching my 2 bilingual children provided me with insights on how to approach lessons with children.
  10.  I have played many roles As mentioned in my bio, teaching was not my university degree.  I’ve experienced working with academic and private institutions.   In my previous life, I had been a scientific researcher and a Quality Assurance Manager.  Thus, I have a lot of experience with Business English.  If that’s what you’re looking for, I am the person for the job.
